Snow Day
In the same vein as Julie's blog post, I will give you the four rules for determing if it is a snow day here.
1. See if it is winter. If so, begin to worry that it might snow.
2. See if the forecast actually includes any chance of precipitation. Worry more.
3. If #1 and #2 are yes, then see what the chance of snow is. If above 10%, go immediately to step #4.
4. Freak out and buy out United of all necessary items, including but not limited to water, kerosene, fire wood, bags of chips, and all of the chocolate you can get your hands on.
5. Look at the window for the next 3 days and wonder when it was actually supposed to start snowing.
If you are school administrator, I would add step 2.5 and say cancel school. Which they did for a day we got next to nothing as far as snow. The day the picture was taken below -- school went ahead as normal. Go figure.

Arrrgh! Shiver me timbers - a snow pirate.
Isn't that baby cold?
Julie would be so proud, we actual got a comment along the lines of "shouldn't that baby be wrapped up" the other day. And it wasn't even the snow day.
Came over from Julie's blog -- what a beautiful family!! Are you really in Lubbock (I'm guessing all of that snow wasn't Tyler!!)
I am SO jealous of the clubhouse -- I need to hire you to come build my kids one!
